Shape properties
A shape (line, rectangle, ellipse, polyline, polygon, arc, curve, and pie) in the vector editor has the following properties:
Kind The type of shape
Visible Set to 1 to make the shape visible in ATPDraw circuit (for internal use only)
Layer ATPDraw uses the layer information to turn on/off the visible flag dependent on user selections, for instance in the RLC element. It can be used to separate elements a complex drawing, since it is possible to show individual layers (Edit layer combo box). All layers are drawn in the ATPDraw circuit.
Pen color Color code 0..255 (240-255 are the standard ATPDraw colors in the color grid to the right) of the contour of the shape. More colors available from the color dialog. Nearest RGB color chosen.
Pen style Solid, dashing and dotting.
Pen width Thickness of line in pixels. Width of 3 used for 3-phase connections.
Brush color Color code 0..255 (240-255 are the standard ATPDraw colors in the color grid to the right) of the fill of the shape. More colors available from the color dialog. Nearest RGB color chosen. Applies only to Rectangle, Ellipse, Polygon, Bezier curves and Pie.
Brush style Fill style. Set to clear to not fill and solid to fill completely.
The shape can hold up to 255 points. This can be utilized for Polylines, Polygons and Bezier Curves. For Bezier curves each curve point is accompanioned by two control points. The points are given relative to the icon centre. x is the horizontal axis increasing from -127..128 from left to right, while y is the vertical axis increasing from -127..128 from top to bottom.
Using many points will fill up the available vector icon space as indicated in the %full column of the info bar.
