The [Directories] section

The following table lists and describes available parameters in the [Directories] section:

Parameter Description
Projects The directory where you store your project files (.adp).
A project file contains a circuit description and all non-standard (or user specified) support (sup), model (mod), line/cable data (alc) and library (lib) files. When opening a project, ATPDraw unpackes the files and store them in the specified folders. If the folder specified in the project file in unknown the default folders given below are used.
ATP Specifies the directory in which ATP files are created (.atp). NB! This is the default Result Directory.
Model The default model's directory.
Help The folder containing global, text based help files; resistor.txt.
UserSpecified Directory containing support (.sup), library (.lib) and punch (.pch) files for user specified components.
Models Directory containing support (.sup) and model (.mod) files for MODELS components.
LineCables The default folder for line and cable models. This folder will contain alc files (Atpdraw line/cable data)
Transformer The default directory for BCTRAN (bct) and Hybrid Transformer files (xfm).
Plugins Project files stored in this folder automatically are added to the Selection menu.

By default the different directories or folders are expected to be located in the ATPDraw installation directory. In the sample section below, we assume the installation directory is C:\ATPDRAW. If ResInPrj is turned on the Result Directory (where all outputs go) is set equal to the Project file directory.
